I toured the Colorado factory during our build and the craftsmanship is obvious once you are inside one. Cabinets close solid, nothing rattles on washboard roads, and the off-grid power setup runs our fridge and laptops for days. Zero regrets.
We picked our Loft up in early winter and lived in it across a full Colorado ski season. The diesel heater kept the cabin warm at 10 degrees overnight and the insulation is no joke. The sleeping loft frees up so much room downstairs for gear.
The Loft has been a fantastic four-season rig for climbing trips out to the desert. Only reason it is four stars is that the loft layout meant we had to be thoughtful about where bulky gear goes, but the solar and lithium bank have never let us down.
Took the Loft on a two week overlanding loop through the San Juans and never once wished for a hotel. Cooking in the galley, sleeping up in the loft, and the heater made the cold mornings easy. Rossmonster clearly builds these to actually be used.
Bought the Loft specifically for winter travel and it has been dialed. Four-season insulation plus the heater means we camp comfortably well below freezing, and the off-grid setup keeps everything running when we are parked for a week off the grid.
The fixed bed in the Havn was the right call for us on longer trips, no nightly setup and we sleep great. We spent six weeks bouncing between national parks and the off-grid power handled the fridge, fans, and charging without ever needing shore power.
We have had the Havn out in spring snow and summer heat and it stays livable in both. The heating system is quiet and efficient, storage is well thought out, and the whole van feels overbuilt in the best way. The Colorado team was great through the build.
The Havn has been a wonderful adventure van for weekend camping and the occasional remote work week off-grid. I would have liked slightly more galley counter space, but honestly the layout and four-season build quality more than make up for it.
We run the Havn as a basecamp for mountain biking trips and it is rock solid. Big lithium bank and solar keep us powered for days, the insulation keeps the desert heat out, and after a year of hard use nothing has loosened or failed. Genuinely impressed.

Rossmonster has been great to work with. They have provided timely communications through out the order and build processes. And it was fun taking delivery of our Skye van at the factory and meeting the people we had been working with. We're looking forward to the many adventures we will have in this well designed van.
We came to Rossmonster with a very specific layout for a family of four and they nailed it. The custom build has bunk storage, a huge off-grid power system, and four-season heating that has kept us warm on winter trips. Visiting the Colorado shop during the process sealed it for us.
My custom van was designed around working remotely from the trailhead, and it delivers. Massive battery bank, a proper desk, and insulation that holds heat well into shoulder season. The build quality is on another level compared to conversions I looked at.

We had checked out several van conversion companies before seeing photos of Rossmonster vans that hooked us. Loved the interior spaces full of light, wood cabinets and creative layouts. We briefly toyed with buying a pre-built model they had available at the time, but instead began working with Luke on a custom build. So glad we did. With his design help, we fit a long bed, roomy garage and good-sized kitchen into a medium-length, high roof Ford Transit. (In the garage, we've tucked two mountain bikes and cycling gear, camp cook table, chairs and tons of other stuff.) Every question we asked got a quick answer. Particularly appreciated that Luke and Sam kept us in the loop during the build with photos and emails. The finished van is a beauty. And we think the Rossmonster crew is awesome!

The Baja Trail was exactly the truck camper I wanted, hard-sided and four-season but light enough that my truck still handles rough trails well. The insulated shell and heater made early-season backcountry camping comfortable, and the off-grid power runs everything I need.
We spent a month overlanding around Moab out of the Baja Trail and it took the washboard and heat without complaint. Nothing rattled loose, the storage is smart, and the solar kept the battery topped off. You can tell it was built four-season tough in Colorado.

Took the Baja Trail deep into the backcountry for a week with no hookups and the off-grid power and heating did not miss a beat. It is clearly engineered for real four-season use, not just fair-weather camping. Rossmonster builds a seriously capable camper.
We got caught in a hard freeze near Taos and the Baja Trail kept us toasty the whole time thanks to the insulated shell and heater. The whole camper feels overbuilt in a good way, and the Colorado team answered every question quickly after delivery.
We sized up to the Baja Plus for the added interior space and storage and it was the right move for extended trips. The bigger off-grid system runs our fridge and gear for over a week, and it is still a genuine four-season camper that shrugged off a snowy Colorado spring.

The Baja Plus is a superb four-season truck camper with tons of space and a strong off-grid setup for long remote stays. It is on the heavier side given the extra room, so make sure your truck is up to it, but the build quality and warmth in the cold are excellent.
Our Baja Plus has been everywhere from alpine passes to desert trails and it handles all of it in comfort. The four-season systems mean we camp year round, the storage keeps us organized on month-long trips, and visiting the Colorado factory gave us total confidence in the build.
We just picked up our 2nd Rossmönster rig. Proud to be one of the first custom built Bajas over 4 yrs ago and now we've upgraded to a new custom Baja Plus. The entire Team at Rossmönster treated us like friends immediately and that has grown into a more family-like relationship over the years as we visit at Expos, trade ideas, or share social media stories. These guys care, these guys know the overland business, and these guys share the outdoor passion. You can look elsewhere if you need to, but save the best for last...Rossmönster.
